First world politics. <p>Suspended head of the <acronym title="National Intelligence Agency">NIA</acronym> Billy Masethla has been given <a href="http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&#38;click_id=13&#38;art_id=qw1143047520271B215">the boot</a> by Thabo Mbeki, following Masethla&#8217;s role in the <span class="caps">NIA</span>&#8217;s unlawful investigation of businessman (and prominent <span class="caps">ANC</span> member) Saki Macozoma.
