Whither The Manuel Presidency? 2
With Tokyo Sexwale’s campaign to be the next president rapidly heating up I can’t help but wonder if the emergence of a ‘business friendly’ candidate like Tokyo means that any hope for Trevor Manuel to enter the presidential race is rapidly diminishing?
I don’t think Trevor is aiming for the presidency, I think he is hoping for he vice presidency and that is what he is campaigning for.
That’s a possibility. Considering that the VP sometimes seems to actually be more responsible for running the country than the President is it might not be a bad idea…
